Empower is a three-day event that occurs in five different states: Maryland, Ohio, Texas, North Carolina, and Kansas. Empower’s mission is to empower all fitness, wellness and mind/body professionals as well as enthusiasts. They also want to support them to live and help others live a healthier way of life on all levels.
Every year, CrossFit “one of the fastest growing sports in America,” according to Forbes. They partner with Reebok to create a friendly competition amongst athletes and bystanders from across the world. This year’s CrossFit Games begins in February and ends in March. Anyone from age 14 and up is able to participate, and since it is an online competition, hundreds of thousands of people sign up. Since its launch in 2007, the CrossFit Games participation has increased each year. Even if you’re not competing to win, which is probably not the case, you’re still getting a great workout.
NYC Bike Expo
This amazing annual event happens in Manhattan New York City, and it lasts for two days. As Campagnolo Gran Fondo New York (GFNY) would say, “be a pro for a day.” Enjoy two days of all things road cycling in the heart of Manhattan with thousands of other participants just like you. This fitness event is expected to welcome 10,000 plus visitors from across 90 countries, and GFNY will be the main attraction. Deuces Wild Competition
If you want to win cash by competing in something that you’re passionate about with your favorite partner, this is the event for you. Deuces Wild Competition announced their sixth competition to happen this March in partnership with Evolution Sports Expo. Divine Play AcroYoga Festival
This October, Portland Oregon will play the host for the Annual Divine Play AcroYoga Festival. Super Fit Games have been putting on the Team SuperFit event since 2010. Since then, it has been selling out this event more than a month ahead of time since. With a focus on quality over quantity, this fitness event is one you don’t want to miss. “We believe being fit means being able to do well across a variety of different physical tests. As such, we’ve designed a competition that tests people for all-around skills,” is how SuperFit describes this series of fitness events.
This event is for Beginner and intermediate athletes. Festivus Games describe this event as “a functional-fitness competition for the rest of us.” It is a worldwide event that happens in April where nearly 8000 athletes exercise at the same time.
